A bit of the good ol' ultraviolence.

Astounding, and unexpected.

It was honestly incredible to see this show up, completed and finished after all these years. Congrats, you put your all into this and it shows. CYCzen also did a fantastic job and really brought the backdrop to life for the animation to stand on. Give him kudos too.

I don't care for vtubers in the slightest, but I have to give you props. This animation is so dang smooth, unbelievably smooth and fluid.

If you wouldn't mind me asking, roughly how many frames did this piece have? And would you have any advice for getting the foundations laid out for short animations of this scale?

It's been a long time since I played flash games (or the modern equivalent) on newgrounds. This was honestly a very refreshing and heartwarming return to a simpler time. Nothing too crazy, but enjoyable to play a few rounds to see how well you can do. Managed to the best on the dandoline.
It's not a huge deal, but I'd suggest perhaps, if you want to keep the somewhat interesting inertia on the movement, to decrease the hit box ever so slightly. It's a bit tricky getting through some of the tighter patterns when you have to worry about the long speed up and slow down along with the rather sizable hitbox.

QCrimson responds:

Thank you for your feedback!
Yes, the hitbox should be smaller as a red point on her.
We will fix it in the next update.

Awesome! Thank you so much for making this game, and putting it up on newgrounds!

Wow!

I have to say, this is the most epic story for a flash game. It makes one wonder why it isn't on the most popular shooters.

I will admit I skipped the dialog for the first half of the 'Home World'. But I soon started reading everything. I was so impressed by the thought in it all.

I only did the Ginny story line, which was amazing. It was so bitter-sweet, as if I wanted it the most, yet I didn't at the same time.

My friend, Please, do this site a favor and keep on making amazing games like this.

I would say more, but I don't think there is anything left to say.

This is pretty good.

One thing I have noticed though about a lot of these BH2 teasers though is that a lot of them are not very laid back or peaceful. Most of them seem like boss or battle music. One of my favorite things from BH1's music was that most of the songs were calm and not overly dramatic, with the suitable exception of light in the darkness.

Again, I am not saying these songs so far are bad, I just feel like some of them lack a sort of serenity that BH1 songs excelled at.

Phyrnna responds:

Actually there are some more laid back ones, it's just the teasers I'm posting up. :P

This sounds amazing! I love the voice for this and the beat sounds so crazy, I love it. For your third song ever, this is an amazing improvement. All I can ask for now is to have the rest of the race's intro songs. Until then, cheers

P.S. Do you have a page on the forums for these songs? It would be great to have somewhere to check for updates.

NeverCake responds:

Many thanks! I've not posted these on the forums, nor do I really give updates anywhere. So far we've just been releasing videos whenever they're done, but perhaps I should make more use of my Twitter. Anyway, know that I have already made a song for the Novakids but am having some difficulty with the lyrics/vocals. So, whenever that gets worked out, I'll upload it. Thanks again!

Though it has some slight problems, most of which are discussed on the youtube page, I think this is awesome and I can't wait to hear more.

Just in time for the second arc.

Who are some of your favorite characters?

Man, I haven't visited Towergirls in years. I should probably check back into it at some point.
And funny how you did Gargoyle Princess of all of them. I was looking into any art of her for a gargoyle character a while back.

That's a very fun pose as well. The slight lean and raised foot really help keep it from being too static, and like she's ready to take off at a moment's notice.

There is still Kamen Rider.

Won't you believe in him?

Just some guy trying to get better at artistic endeavors. And shitposting.
